Compliance status
East Kent Colleges Group’s websites are partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):
a. Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- Cookiebot web banner across all pages of East Kent Colleges Group websites as listed above: At 400% zoom, the keyboard focus is not visible on the cookie icon in the bottom corner of the webpage, and the cookie banner does not reflow correctly at 400% zoom as content is missing. This is because there is an accessibility issue with the third-party Cookiebot banner. Our website development agency is engaging with the third-party provider, Cookiebot, to find a resolution.
- Images and infographics across all pages of East Kent Colleges Group websites as listed above: Uploaded images and infographics may not have text alternatives. We are actively reviewing all content uploaded to our website to ensure alternative text is present across all imagery.
- Uploaded PDF documents on the Governance, Policies and Reporting, Leadership, and Collaborate with Us sections and sub-pages on the website, ekcgroup.ac.uk: Some documents available on our website may not be fully accessible for those utilising assistive tools. This is because, in some documentation, page titles, the document language, and the information and relationships of content parts, may not have been identified when the documents were created.
We are actively updating all documentation to embed accessibility features as standard and replacing documents as they are updated. If you require an accessible version of any of our documents, please contact us via enquiries@ekcgroup.ac.uk.
