EKC Ashford College and Everon UK have formalised their partnership after signing a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This agreement reinforces their shared commitment to delivering high-quality training, learning, and employment opportunities for students across Kent.
Everon UK is an organisation that delivers innovative, trusted digital living solutions that enhance life and help more people live independently.
Earlier today, Peter Kerly, Vice President of Group Sales and Marketing at Everon UK, visited EKC Ashford College to sign the MoU with the College Principal, Lucy Clark.
This exciting new partnership promises to unlock new opportunities for students at the College and encourage them to learn more about assistive living technology.
“Everyone is really pleased to be sponsoring the College with the intention of introducing students to the assisted living arena,” Peter Kerly said.
“It’s an industry that is really exciting, going through tremendous change and becoming very much more IT-focused by using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
“We see it as a much more attractive proposition than it has been in the past, so hopefully we can encourage students to explore this opportunity, and we look forward to working with the College over the next year.”
EKC Ashford College Principal Lucy Clark added: “It was excellent to welcome Peter from Everon UK to our EKC Ashford College to celebrate this new partnership.
“His visit allowed us to show him the Everon UK display we have in one of our classrooms, and to highlight our vibrant learning environment.
“Today marks the first step in this exciting new partnership, and we cannot wait to see how it continues to flourish over the next year and support our students.”
