EKC Group celebrates Level 2 Results Day

21 August 2025
There has been a buzz of excitement across EKC Group as our students collected their GCSE and Level 2 results.

Today marks an exciting moment for students across East Kent Colleges Group (EKC Group) as they collect their Level 2 results.

As many of our learners prepare to continue their education with EKC Group, a buzz of excitement filled our six campuses as students and staff came together to celebrate their achievements.

Students across EKC Group have been collecting their Level 2 results

Collecting their results today at EKC Canterbury College was Daisy Relph, who achieved a Merit in her Level 2 Uniformed Public Services qualification.

Daisy said: “I’m really happy with my results because it means I can go into a Level 3 qualification, which will help me reach my goal of working in the police,” she said.

“I’m aiming for a Distinction in my Level 3, which I’ll be studying at EKC Canterbury College.

“I found College great. I was here the year before in Foundation Learning. It’s been great because I’ve made a lot of friends, and it was my first time in public education.

“I found it really opened up for a social life, and overall, opportunities in education.”

When asked what advice she would give to anyone who is starting College, Daisy said: “Don’t be shy. Listen to your teachers, be social, and make friends.”

Daisy is set to continue her studies at EKC Canterbury College in September

Meanwhile, at our EKC Canterbury College Spring Lane Campus, Isabel Ray collected her GCSE results for Biology, English and Maths, as well as her Level 2 Countryside and Environment, which she achieved a Distiction star in.

Isabel says she chose to come to Junior College after being home schooled.

“I was home schooled and Junior College seemed like a good next step and to get my GCSEs. Plus it is a really good College,” she said.

“Junior College has helped me develop my communication skills, learning how to best communicate with other people – that will help me in my Public Services course. And College got me my GCSEs in English, Maths and Biology.

“My favourite thing has been my teachers. I really like my teachers here.”

Also celebrating was Christopher Greening, who collected his GCSE Maths results. He will now be studying Level 2 Engineering at EKC Sheppey College.

“Now that I’ve passed GCSE Maths, I’m coming back here to study Engineering,” he said.

“It seemed like a logical next step for me after my Carpentry course.

“College has helped me quite a lot with my maths, especially the teachers. The support they gave was great.”

Christopher will be returning to EKC Sheppey College to study a Level 2 in Engineering

We would like to congratulate all our students on their outstanding achievements and wish them every success for their future endeavours.
