Siobhan Phillips

Siobhan is currently the Managing Director at the Schoolwear Centre, Margate. In this role, she is able to use her passion for people, young people specifically, to support and elevate her local community. In other words, she likes to think of herself as a champion for those struggling to recognise their value or place in society. 

Having been a looked-after child herself and a single parent, Siobhan is aware of the impact social stereotypes can have on individuals and their families.

She has been fortunate enough to work with and interact with young people in a variety of different settings and capacities, be it workshops around employment, gender and society, or through semi-independent schemes and charity music events. For this, Siobhan says she feels truly grateful.

In her spare time, Siobhan likes to throw on sequins and live her best Aretha/Beyonce fantasy performing with her bands.
