The shared agreement showcases both organisations’ commitment to working together to enhance the opportunities available to students.

Runway Training is an independent training provider operating across Sussex, Kent and the wider South East region. The organisation provides online training on functional skills, leadership, and management.

It’s also known for its apprenticeships, traineeships, and a wide range of courses, all of which support individual development. The team supports thousands of learners a year to achieve nationally recognised qualifications, while offering a flexible approach to the students’ learning experience with online, classroom and onsite training available.

“We’re looking forward to getting started and knowledge sharing between the two organisations and making better use of the resources we’ve got to benefit learners across East Kent,” Oliver Trailor from Runway Training said.

“This is the first partnership that we have formalised through an MoU – we’ve got other organisations that we work closely with where it’s a bit more informal, but to have it formalised and have a structure to it, I think, will drive better results.”

Lucy McLeod, CEO of EKC Group, added, “It’s fantastic to have signed this MoU with Runway Training.

“It’s really good to have a strategic partnership with an independent training provider. It’s a healthy relationship, which is wonderful, and will bring benefits to our students, which is always good.”
