The AoC Colleges Week is a national campaign recognising the vital role further education plays in transforming lives and supporting local communities.

Throughout the week, EKC Group will shine a spotlight on the achievements of learners across its six colleges and nine training centres, highlighting the impact of high‑quality education and skills training delivered throughout East Kent.

As the region’s leading provider of further education, this year’s theme, ‘Skills for All’, reflects the heart of EKC Group’s Mission and Vision.

Every day, its colleges, which were all graded Ofsted ‘Oustanding’ following the latest inspection, and training centres empower people from all backgrounds with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to progress.

From young people taking their first steps into further education, to adults retraining for new careers, and apprentices gaining hands‑on experience in the workplace, EKC Group continues to open doors and create life‑changing opportunities for thousands across the county.

To celebrate the diverse learners it serves, each day of Colleges Week will spotlight a different group:

  • Monday – Celebrating the achievements of adult learners
  • Tuesday – Highlighting the thousands of 16–19‑year‑olds studying at EKC Group colleges.
  • Wednesday – Focusing on apprentices and the Group’s new 100 in 100 campaign, which aims to secure 100 apprenticeship pledges from local employers within 100 days.
  • Thursday – Showcasing the Group’s higher education and Access to Higher Education pathways.
  • Friday – Bringing the celebrations together with a focus on EKC Group’s wider community impact.

“Whether they’re gaining qualifications, retraining for new careers or contributing thousands of hours to community projects, our learners demonstrate the power of accessible, high‑quality skills training.

“The theme of ‘Skills for All’ captures the true purpose of our work at EKC Group. Every day, we equip learners with the knowledge and experiences that local employers tell us they need, helping to drive the economic growth of our region.”
