Jason Howard
Governor
Jason graduated as a teacher at Canterbury Christ Church University in 2009. He started his career at Queenborough School and Nursery, where he served as a teacher and Deputy Headteacher before taking on the Headship in September 2022 and leading the school to its second ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted judgement. He later became Executive Headteacher, with responsibility for the leadership of multiple schools across EKC Schools Trust.
Now, as Deputy CEO of the Trust, Jason works as part of the central team to deliver the educational offer across all 12 schools. He enjoys working as a Governor for East Kent Colleges Group as it enables him to help maintain the close relationship between the Group and the Trust.
Jason was awarded the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) in 2016 and achieved a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in 2019.
