Step by step guidance on how to access your online classes.
1 Visit sheppeycollege.ac.uk
2 Scroll to the bottom of the page, and on the left hand side you will see a section called ‘Staff and Student Access’. Click on the link for ‘Staff & Student Email’
3 You will now be redirected to your email. If it asks you to log in, you will need to use your student email and password. For example: 12345678@student.eastkent.ac.uk
4 Once you have logged into your email account, you will see a calendar icon in the bottom left corner. Click this icon. You will now be redirected to your calendar.
5 In your calendar will be your remote lessons scheduled. Click on the one you are joining and choose the ‘Join’ option.
6 A new window will now open asking how you would like to join the meeting, choose ‘Continue on this browser’
7 A preview of your camera will appear, and a space to enter your name. Once you have entered your name and are ready, click ‘Join Now’
I don't know my ID Number / Email Address
Your student ID number will be on your lanyard and your email address will be this number followed by @student.eastkent.ac.uk
I don’t know / have forgotten my password
Your password will have been given to your by your tutor. If you have forgotten or lost this you can get your password reset by emailing Martin.Owen@eastkent.ac.uk
I followed these steps and still can’t access my online class
