Your future

Once you have successfully completed your T Level, there will be a range of progression opportunities available to you. These include, entering skilled employment, starting a higher-level apprenticeship, and going to university.

Entry Requirements - Engineering - Level 3

This programme of study is designed to accelerate progression toward advanced employment, higher study or apprenticeship opportunities if you are clear about your next steps and you have the explicit entry criteria to ensure your success.

Achievement at level 3 will have a positive impact upon your future earning potential and career options but it also unlocks progression to Higher Education and Higher and Degree Apprenticeships.  These take you from advanced technician or skilled supervisory roles at Level 3 to management and chartered professional status as you continue your studies to higher levels.

For a Level 3, including all T Level and A Level programmes of study, we require students to have the equivalent of 4 grade 4s including English at 4 and maths at 5 (or pass at level 2 where you will have developed a context of maths in the same/related subject).

In addition to the general entry criteria for T Levels and A Levels many individual subjects will also require students to have specific GCSE grades in specific subjects, and some will have a specified level of skill requirement as well as specific GCSE grade requirements. Please see the individual information regarding the requirements for each subject course.
