This introduction to Adobe Illustrator software is delivered by a practitioner in the design industry and is ideal for students with no previous experience.
The tuition will equip learners with the skills to create vector art illustrations, logos and maps. These illustrations can then be saved as jpegs or imported into Photoshop for further manipulation.
This course will cover the basics of Adobe Illustrator for the first half and then the intermediate Photoshop session will follow during the second half.
Adobe illustrator is the perfect software to create infographics and icons to use on both printed literature, social media and websites. This vector based programme produces files that can be enlarged without loss of quality and is suitable for creating logos that can then be used for exhibition work or vinyl cutting.
This part of the session is ideal for those students with a basic understanding of Photoshop’s tools. We explore layers, layer masks and adjustment layers.
There will also be an opportunity for students to bring along their own images to use as projects during the class.
This 6-week course runs from 6.00pm-9.00pm.
