Entry requirements

All learners must be aged 19+. You will be required to sit a short aptitude test before starting on the course.

Assessment will take place via three 90-minute exam papers: one non-calculator and two where a calculator is permitted. Since September 2016 we have been teaching the new “9 to 1” GCSE in Maths. Numbers will replace letter grades, with 9 being the highest grade and 1 being the lowest.

GCSE Maths is a qualification asked for by employers and required for entry onto other courses, especially higher education.
