Course Overview

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing Studies allows you to expand the skills and knowledge you already possess by monitoring the health and safety in the salon for your colleagues and clients, supporting colleagues with their consultations and promoting services and products to your clients.

You will learn how to develop a variety of looks using advanced cutting techniques and how to increase your ability to style and dress your clients' hair. You will also expand your knowledge of colouring products and techniques, bridal hairstyling and perming.

Course Assessment

For each unit, the following will need to be completed:

A written assignment
A variety of practical assessments
One exam

Course Progression

On successful completion, you could gain employment within the hairdressing industry in salons and on cruise ships or you could become a self-employed hairdresser.
