The Royal Academy of Arts have been championing art and artists for over 250 years, and one of the ways in which they do this is by hosting an annual Summer Exhibition, allowing the public and art experts the chance to see upcoming talent as well as celebrated pieces.
As part of this celebration, they now host a Young Artists' Summer Show, which is a free open submission exhibition for students aged between 4 - 19 who are studying in the UK. This show is now in its fifth year, and this time around received over 21,000 entries.
All entries were considered for either an in-person show in London in July, or an online exhibition, available for everyone to see from the 18th July. We are so very proud to announce that one of our students has had their artwork selected for the online exhibition, which is a great opportunity for them to show the world their talent!
Krishna Rai, who is in her second year of our Art and Design pathway has created the work entitled "Haunted House", which can be seen below. You can read more about this amazing piece and see other chosen artwork from across the country in the online exhibition which begins on the 18th July.
