Vernon has studied for his Maths GCSE with us over the past year, and has worked towards a pass on the higher tier, which he has achieved with a grade of 4! This is a standard pass grade which is equivalent to a C on the old grade system! Vernon has now opened the door to more opportunities thanks to his GCSE Maths studies – well done Vernon!
Alan has studied the Foundational Tier in Maths with us, and has been rewarded with a Grade 5 for his efforts! This is the highest grade you can get in Foundational Maths, so his work really has paid off throughout the year. 5 is equivalent to a higher level C Grade under the old system. Many congratulations to Alan, and we are excited to see what the future holds for him!
Sophia has also studied towards her GCSE Maths with us over the past year in the higher tier, and like Vernon, she has achieved a standard pass grade of 4! This is an amazing achievement for Sophia, who is now excited to see what opportunities have opened with her GCSE Maths pass grade. Many congratulations to Sophia!
Today was also a great day for Access to HE students, with lots of them collecting pass grades for English and Maths, allowing them to progress onto the choice of University's alongside their Access grades. As you can see, at Ashford College we don't just help those 16 -19, we also help adult learners who are 19+ achieve their full potential, regardless of age or experience. Why not take a look at how we could help you with your GCSE English and Maths? (16 - 19 students are offered the chance to study for their GCSE's alongside their Level 1/2/3 courses!)
Check out our video with more success stories, such as those from our Level 3 students!
