Trustees and Governors perform a tremendously valuable and rewarding role; encouraging and shaping the broader learning opportunities and experiences available to children, adding value as we work towards our strategic vision and improvement priorities.
Our Trust Board and Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) are served by a committed team of volunteers offering their skills, time and commitment.
The Trust and our schools need and benefit from a range of professional knowledge on the Trust Board and LGBs including education, finance, human resources, legal, marketing and public relations, property and estates management, as well as organisational change.
You do not need to be a parent or have experience of the education sector, we are interested in character and skill sets. Our development framework ensures our Board and LGB governors are well supported.
Many employers recognise school governance as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility and, Learning and Development Policies and may offer paid leave for governor duties.
From time to time vacancies will arise at Trust Board or Local Governing Body level, to learn more and register your interest contact us.
