EKC Group - Nursery at Canterbury College

To help your child develop and grow, they will spend some time amongst children of different ages, as well as having a learning area specifically for their age group. All children regularly meet for free play (both inside and outdoors), where they can care, share and learn from their peers. We are open 50 weeks of the year (closed for two weeks at Christmas).

Our staff will provide your child with many stimulating and challenging activities. All staff are experienced and qualified in childcare and have enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB checks).

3 months – 2 years

£6.35 per hour

2 years – 3 years

£5.67 per hour

3 years – 5 years

£5.44 per hour

*Meals are included in the above fees. Up to 30 hours of funded childcare may be available to eligible children aged 3 years and over with working parents/carers. Up to 15 hours funded childcare is available for eligible 2 year olds and all children the term after their third birthday. There may be additional charges for meals for funded children.

*A limited number of funded only sessions are available between: 8.30am – 11.30am or 12.30pm – 2.30pm, five days a week.

Payment and fees

The first month’s payment is due at the beginning of your child’s first full session. Invoices are sent out monthly.

Monthly fees will be calculated based on the number of sessions agreed. Cheques should be made payable to Canterbury College. Notice period: One month’s notice must be given in writing if your child is having their sessions reduced or is leaving the Nursery.

The Nursery does not refund absences regardless of how they are caused, including sickness and holidays.
