Each year at Folkestone College we celebrate with the Student Awards, to highlight the amazing achievements of many outstanding students across all of our Pathways.
We also celebrate with the Principal’s Award, Inspirational Leader, and Contribution to the Community.
All who attended were able to hear the stories of the students who had won, many overcoming academic challenges, personal struggles, and more.
Drinks and refreshments were prepared and served by our fantastic Catering learners, with many compliments from our guests to the chefs.
The awards were presented by Ella Brocklebank our Chair of Governors.
Students won prizes generously donated by our sponsors, and we are sure they will enjoy them greatly!
Our Students' Union President and also winner of the Contribution to the Community award Luke had this to say about the event:
"It was great to see so many people being celebrated for their achievements, I really enjoyed the ceremony and was honoured to receive an award, I want to thank everyone who made it possible and all the hard work that students and staff put into this award. Plus I loved the meringues!"
