PSA Students Save the Bees!

Our PSA students raise money to create an on-campus bee-friendly garden!

Our PSA students have once again taken part in an amazing project, and for yet another amazing cause!

As part of the college’s commitment to sustainability, the PSA students would like to create a ‘bee-friendly’ garden on the college grounds.

With bee populations on the decline, the garden will enable bees to buzz around happily with plenty of flowers to pollinate!

The students therefore made a variety of handmade flower and bee-themed decorations, jewellery, colouring books, and more, and sold them in the college Refectory to fellow students and staff.

There was also 'Guess the name of the Bee' for students to win a box of chocolates!

They created quite the buzz, raising over £80 to go towards helping them plant their garden!

Well done to our PSA students for all their hard work – we can’t wait to see the beautiful garden blooming next summer!
