PSA Students Raise Money for Guide Dogs for the Blind

Our PSA students took part in a project to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Before the Christmas break, our PSA students were involved in a very special project.

PSA stands for Personal Social Achievement, and the classes are to help our students develop their skills and confidence that will help them to succeed alongside their studies.

For this particular project, they held a sale of Christmas decorations to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind, a cause very close to their hearts.

The decorations were all handmade by the students themselves, and created from repurposed materials.

This also counts towards the college's Sustainability Pledge, of reusing items and ensuring things are not thrown away unnecessarily.

The students raised over £60 which has been donated.

The students had a great time interacting with customers, using the card reader, and promoting the sale!

We would like to give a big round of applause to our amazing students for their efforts!
