Enrolment 2020 - What you need to know

Thank you for choosing to study with us at Folkestone College, please see below further information on what to expect from enrolment.

If you have been offered a place to study at Folkestone College you will receive an enrolment invitation through the post. On this, you will find your date and time slot to come in and enrol.

In order to reduce any opportunity for COVID-19 transmission, please be aware that we will not be able to accept you onto campus to enrol on this date if you DO NOT attend at your specified time.

Enrolment dates will run from the 24th August through to the 4th September, with Term 1 starting on the 7th September. (See Term Dates here)

On the day please arrive at the Shorncliffe Road entrance of the campus and look out for the gazebo, where you will be welcomed by your new Head of Area.

Unfortunately, those accompanying you will NOT be permitted to go into the buildings or walk around College grounds.  This is a shame, as we would normally welcome friends, family and companions, but we need to limit the number of people moving through the campus as I am sure you will understand. We know it can be a nerve-wracking experience, but don't worry our friendly staff will be on hand to support you throughout the process.

What if I didn't get the results I expected?

We are here to help!

If you have not achieved the required grades for your chosen course, please do still attend your enrolment, as the tutor will be able to discuss other options available to you.  This really is the start of your journey, not the end, and you could enter the same pathway at a different level or consider the many other courses we have here at Folkestone.  Our dedicated team can also help with your English and Maths if either, or both, still need to be achieved.

I can't make my assigned time slot, what do I do?

To secure a place on your course please make every effort to attend on the date above.  If you are unable to attend your appointment for whatever reason, please email as soon as you can, and we will contact you to arrange an alternative time and hold your place.
