We are committed to offering our schools the opportunity to grow and develop, while remaining an independent part of their local community.
We are a thriving and varied school community who value all of our children’s many talents whether they be academic, sporting, creative or otherwise.
We are committed to supporting our pupils to make progress in all aspects of their lives and achieve the maximum success possible.
We are committed to ensuring well-being and learning is at the heart of everything we do by growing confident, caring lifelong learners.
We strive to provide a happy and caring environment to ensure our children enjoy coming to school and become confident and independent learners.
As all our schools serve unique communities, the schools all design and implement their own curriculums but through our relationship with the EKC Group—it’s nurseries, junior and FE colleges and business units - we enhance this curriculum offer in the following ways;
Through access to specialist teachers and lecturers, resources and equipment the Trust provides excellent opportunities for children in all our schools to experience a wider, richer curriculum and a range of new, exciting skills to support them in their learning.
Including learning experiences in music, computing, construction and design, technology, hair and beauty, travel and tourism, business and many more.
EKC Schools Trust is a member of Kent’s MAT Alliance (KMA). KMA is a collective of like-minded CEOs who strongly believe we are ‘better together’; working collaboratively to improve the educational outcomes of all the children in our care.
Currently there are 9 Multi-Academy Trusts and a Teaching School with 38 Primary Schools in the Alliance.
Work to date includes a number of initiatives with direct impact on improving our individual and shared outcomes such as the sharing of resources, peer to peer thematic reviews and training. Also formed within the Kent MAT Alliance is a Business Management forum where our colleagues responsible for the operational delivery of elements such as finance, HR and IT also work closely together to share best practice, ideas and the development of systems to improve the organisational framework of our respective MATs.
We are pleased to have the support of our Regional School Commissioner’s Office and are proud to be part of a collaborative partnership that is directly improving the MAT landscape in Kent and driving improvement in the education and opportunities of pupils in our schools.
