The board of trustees is responsible for setting standards and levels of achievement and for monitoring performance and ensuring accountability.

It is tasked with driving continuous improvement through regular review planning and evaluation activities.

Tammy Mitchell


Tammy has been Executive Director Schools and Early Years at EKC Group since September 2018 and has been appointed to set up and lead the EKC Schools Trust. She has previous experience working as a Headteacher, helping improve struggling schools.

Graham Razey

As Group Principal and Chief Executive, Graham leads the EKC Group at a strategic level. Acting as the senior leader in the organisation, Graham is accountable for all elements of the Group's performance and services across East Kent.

Jonathan Clarke


As Managing Director of Morgan Jones Ltd. since 2000, Jonathan has significant experience in leadership, business and HR. Prior to his role as Chair of Search and Remuneration Committee, Jonathan had been a Governor for East Kent College from 2013-2018.

Chris Legg

Chris has been Director of Finance and Commercial Development since May 2012 and has a strong understanding of our business. He is a Fellow of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and sits on the Governing board of Challock Primary School.

Dave Butt

Dave has had a long career in finance working towards his current position of HSBC Bank Manager, which he achieved in 2005, and has been working as ever since. Dave has also been the chair of Governors for Queenborough School, since 2016.

Hannah Tudor

As Headteacher of St Mary of Charity Primary School, Hannah has responsibilities for safeguarding, identifying stakeholders and target setting. This has enabled her to acquire a broad understanding of Educational improvement and early year’s development.

Paul Wilson

Paul has been a member of the Bysing Wood Governing body since 2014 and took over the role of Chair in 2016. He has 45 years’ experience working in the charitable and voluntary sector and co-owns a small housing portfolio.

Summer Macer

Summer is a HR and Training Consultant with Schools Personnel Service and has worked with a range of organisations such as the NHS and Kent County Council. She was also the director of Summer Morgan Consultancy for seven years.

Peter Troke

Dr Peter Troke joins the Board of Trustees with a substantial amount of educational Governance experience. A former Pfizer microbiologist, Dr Troke has always had a passion for education, having served as an external lecturer at the University of Kent.
