This course covers a range of aspects regarding children and young people's mental health.

As a distance learning course, you will be able to complete this course around your own schedule and gain a full accredited qualification. This is a part time, adult course.

By completing this course, you will gain knowledge in:

children and young people’s mental health in context
mental health problems commonly associated with children and young people
the impact of mental ill-health on children and young people
support available to maintain mental wellbeing in children and young people.

What qualifications do I need?

There are no formal qualifications required to undertake this course however, a previous level 1 would be useful.

Assessment

This course comprises of 5 units, that are submitted to your tutor via email. You will receive support and guidance with an assigned tutor to direct you through the assessment process.
