Canterbury Students Win 18 Medals at KFE4Skills Competition

On Wednesday 6th March, Canterbury College was the proud host of the KFE4Skills competition, welcoming talented participants from colleges all over Kent.

KFE4Skills Live is an event with participants from colleges across Kent. Students are encouraged to demonstrate the skills and abilities they have learned at college and take part in course-based competitions such as Theatrical Media Make-Up timed heats and Bricklaying challenges. The competitions are an exciting opportunity for students to gain further experience in their field and enhance their CVs. 

Students took part in different skill areas throughout the day and were judged and awarded medals. All participants showed incredible expertise and fantastic dedication to their subjects.

Canterbury College students proudly won a total of 18 medals – 6 gold, 10 silver and 2 bronze – in the following areas:

Gold – Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Welding, Graphic Design, Early Years

Silver – Musical Theatre, Dance, Acting, Beauty Therapy (Body), Beauty Therapy (Hands and Face), Carpentry, Digital Video Production, Inclusive Skills, Photography, Welding

Bronze – Photography, Beauty Therapy (Body)
