It was a double celebration for engineering student, Grace. Not only did she achieve a Triple Distinction- but it was also her 18th birthday! These great results mean that she will now be progressing to the University of Greenwich to study Engineering Design, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship.
After working so hard this year, Jacob has achieved a merit for his photography course. He is now planning a gap year and plans to travel around Australia or Europe, developing his creative skills, experiencing new things, and putting his talent to good use by photographing and documenting his journey, before applying for university next year.
Lisa achieved Distinction, Distinction, Distinction in her course. Reflecting on her favourite thing about College, Lisa commented: "My favourite thing about studying at College is learning about the different animals and the support that the tutors give you throughout the course."
Another triple distinction celebration for animal management student, Paige! She will be making the most of the College's internal progression opportunities and will be returning to study Higher Education with us in September.
Hollie has been studying a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Theatre Production and has just found out that her place at Bolton University is confirmed, after having received a Distinction*! Congratulations Hollie. Find out more about her time at College below.
Kieran has achieved DMM on his Level 3 Computing course, and will now be progressing to Canterbury Christ Church University to study computing. His tutors have noted he has been holding down a very busy part-time job alongside his studies, and has maintained a high level of commitment to his course.
After completing three years of study at the College, Ellie has achieved a DDM and will be enjoying a well-deserved gap year, before applying to study Animal Science at university.
Congratulations to Millie, who has achieved a Distinction** in her Animal Management L3 Advanced Technical Diploma. Millie studied at our Spring Lane site and is currently studying on a 14-week course, training to be a jockey at the British Racing School. She said: "I'm very happy with my results! I can't celebrate as I'm not allowed to see my family at the moment due to COVID-19 and I am at the racing school until the end of September - but I will definitely celebrate when I get home!"
Amber has achieved a merit on the Level 3 Theatre Production course and is now planning to study Technical Theatre at St Mary's University in Twickenham, London. This will help her progress to work within the industry!
Ashley has achieved a D* on her BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Computing. Her tutors have noted that she is a dedicated student who has worked extremely hard. Well done Ashley - you are very deserving of this result.
