Level 3 Beauty Therapy student, Chelsea Roberts, has recently had the opportunity to undertake some industry experience during lockdown with skincare brand Dermalogica through both their College Partnership and Ready To Work schemes.
She has completed online training with the brand, attending virtual workshops which have instilled her passion for skin care and finalised her ambitions to have a career as an aesthetician.
Chelsea has “loved every workshop” as they have helped her build further upon her skill set as a Beauty Therapist and she has gained the “confidence to perform treatments with ease using Dermalogica products”.
Referencing her future ambitions, Chelsea shared how she is “excited to become part of the Beauty Industry” and be given the opportunity to use the knowledge and experience she’s gained whilst at College to use in the workplace.
Chelsea’s tutor and Level 3 Beauty Course Leader, Kate Howells, shared how proud she is of Chelsea’s achievement and seeing her “face light up with excitement has been such a pleasure, she couldn't get her words out quickly enough to tell me all about her Dermalogica online training”.
Kate also shared how she is thankful to Dermalogica for their amazing online engagement during the pandemic and the guidance they have given Chelsea.
Chelsea is now preparing for her next steps as she had been accepted onto a Level 4 Beauty Therapy course to peruse her dream of becoming a Specialised Skin Therapist practicing in aesthetics.
