The Health and Science T Level is a 2 year qualification which combines academic study and industry placement.
In year one, you will study the core units including:
In year two of the course you will study the occupational specialism, supporting the adult nursing team. Classroom based learning and hands on sessions in the new simulation suite will further develop your technical knowledge and vocational skills.
The entry requirements are 5 GCSEs, at grade 4 or above or equivalent, including English, maths and science. You will also need a clear DBS check.
All assessment is externally assessed. The core units in year one will be assessed by an exam at the end of the first year and a ‘project’. The project will be a controlled assessment that is linked to work experience.
The occupational specialism in year two will be assessed through a synoptic assessment which includes observation in placement or a health simulation suite.
