This T Level is suitable for school leavers who want to learn about and enhance their skills in Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing.
This 2-year course is equivalent to three A Levels and gives you the option to choose a specialism in either beauty therapy or hairdressing in the second year.
Designed by industry leaders, the T Level combines hands-on learning, academic study, and a 45-day work experience placement with a local employer.

In year two, you will study an occupational specialism in either Beauty Therapy or Hairdressing.
Once you have successfully completed your T Level, there will be a range of progression opportunities available to you. These include entering skilled employment, starting a higher-level apprenticeship, and going to university.
After studying this T Level, you could progress into a career as a Hairdresser or a Beauty Therapist.
This programme of study is designed to accelerate progression toward advanced employment, higher study or apprenticeship opportunities if you are clear about your next steps and you have the explicit entry criteria to ensure your success.
Achievement at level 3 will have a positive impact upon your future earning potential and career options but it also unlocks progression to Higher Education and Higher and Degree Apprenticeships. These take you from advanced technician or skilled supervisory roles at Level 3 to management and chartered professional status as you continue your studies to higher levels.
For a Level 3, including all T Level and A Level programmes of study, we require students to have an average point on entry score of 5.0 from their best 6 subjects, ideally including English and Mathematics.
In addition to the general entry criteria for T Levels and A Levels many individual subjects will also require students to have specific GCSE grades in specific subjects, and some will have a specified level of skill requirement as well as specific GCSE grade requirements. All students will undertake at least nine weeks minimum of working with an employer on an industry placement.
