English as a Second Language

We offer three full-time programmes under English as a Second Language for students aged 16-18 years old.

Assessments are held prior to the start of the programme and students enrol on to the level according to their ability. ESOL programmes include up to six hours per week of English tuition.

Entry requirements

Our entry requirements allow any student to apply enrol and progress in their studies with us to achieve their full potential.

You will apply for your chosen pathway and at the interview you can discuss what entry criteria you need for each level.

Once you have your GCSEs we can ensure you are enrolled on the best level for you to progress and succeed at College.

If you are over 19 you can study English as a Second Language in one of our Colleges, training centres or online with EKC Training.
