This qualification aims to provide expert guidance to learners wishing to gain knowledge and understanding on Electric Vehicle charging equipment installation.
This course is aimed at practicing electricians interested in understanding how to install the range of equipment and systems available, covering the specialised installation requirements of electric vehicle charging equipment in public, private and light commercial locations, and includes exclusive guidance on electrical requirements.
This course is structured so that there will be one day of training, followed by a day of assessments. There will be one practical assessment and one online examination.
Upon completion of this course you will be qualified to install and commission electric vehicle charging equipment in domestic, commercial and industrial locations.
You should hold a Level 3 qualification such as C&G 2330, 2365 and the latest 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
You will need IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation, a Scientific calculator, reference material and PPE for the workshop.
