This course allows you to develop skills for a career in electrical engineering.
You will learn about working effectively and safely in an electrotechnical environment, how to deal with the principles of electrotechnical installation, engineering applications and the principles of installation in building and structures.
Students are assessed using a mixture of assignments, online multiple-choice question papers and practical activities.
You can progress to the Level 3 course in Electrical at Canterbury College.
This qualification may lead on to higher courses and, ultimately, to a job as an electrician, electrical technician or electrical engineer. Students are expected to complete 34 hours of work experience.
