Course content

In Year One, you will study core units covering a range of topics such as:

Emerging technical trends, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Blockchain and 3D printing
How to design, implement and test software
The impact of digital technologies on business
How to analyse and solve problems, and understand user needs
The technical, physical and human aspects of internet security

In Year Two, you will study an occupational specialism. During this year, you will further develop your knowledge whilst developing the skills needed complete your specialist project.
