This qualification is designed to extend and foster a deeper level of understanding and application and naturally progresses learners’ expertise in people practice. This course builds on the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice and is aimed at further expanding learners’ independent practice to enable them to evolve into more senior roles within organisations as people professionals.
The Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management is awarded by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the leading human resources professional body.
The qualification introduces you to areas such as:
You will learn how to develop the relationship between the employee lifecycle and how people practice connects and supports wider people and organisational strategies, focusing on how to support internal customer needs and ensure that business goals and objectives are delivered in line with customer requirements.
Each of the seven modules are separately assessed, either via written reports looking at how the your own organisation operates or through a practical-skills-based assignment using a case study given.
This course will enable you to develop your career towards more senior roles and/or progress to level 7.
The Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management can lead to associate membership of the CIPD. Upon starting your qualification, you will join the CIPD as a student member.
This qualification is designed for learners who want to learn about people practice and students should ideally be working in HR already. Students should have a good level of English. It is recommended that students complete the level 3 CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice before joining the level 5.
Students will need to pay for their registration fee with CIPD and any books they purchase from the optional recommended book list.
