Level 2 Beauty Therapy (Weekend Course)

What will I learn?

Studying on this course will provide a broad introduction to the Beauty sector, equipping learners with underpinning knowledge and skills. The course is designed to support progression onto further learning and ultimately into work in beauty therapy or other related sectors. 

The Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills by covering the following mandatory units;

  • Following health and safety practice in the salon 
  • Client care and communication in beauty related industries 
  • Providing facial skincare 
  • Removing hair using waxing techniques 
  • Providing eyelash and brow treatments 
  • Providing manicure treatments 
  • Providing pedicure treatments

How will I be assessed?

You will create a portfolio of evidence to display your achievement.

What may it lead to?

This course prepares you for further study and training in the Beauty Therapy sector. Achieving this qualification allows direct progression to a higher level qualification, and a career in the industry.

What qualifications do I need?

Learners do not need any prior qualifications or experience for this course, and all applicants will be interviewed and assessed on an individual basis. 

Part-time courses are only for students that are 19 years of age and over at the start of their study programme.
