Indian Head Massage is an effective treatment which has evolved from traditional techniques practiced in India. This treatment can help to reduce headaches and built-up tension whilst improving hair growth and scalp condition and easing stress and anxiety. This is the perfect treatment to offer your clients as it requires no oils or equipment and is usually performed when seated and through light clothing.
This course covers the technique for upper back, shoulder, upper arm, neck, scalp and face massage. It also includes the theory behind Indian Head Massage such as the history of the treatment, principles of Ayurveda, marma points and chakras. The course includes fantastic resources as well as clear diagrams and images to give you the confidence to perform Indian Head Massage.
Theory: 7 hours. (This is completed at your own pace.)
Practical: 6 hours.

The course is fully accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists, the UK’s leading professional beauty trade body, for membership and insurance purposes.
On top of your course fee, you will need to become a Guild Member (student), at the cost of £25. This is paid to the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists and includes:
If the course is completed before the membership is up, for an additional cost, the learner can take out insurance with the Guild (optional).
If, after the three months, the learner wants to stay a member, they can receive a £10 discount to stay a member for the remainder of the year.
If you are already a full-paying member of the Guild, you do not need to pay this extra £25.
