The Salon and Spa

You will train in our industry-standard salon and spa, where you can work with professional equipment on real-life clients.

These will give you the experiences you need to make it in the industry, and put you above the competition.

Our salon and spa is open for appointments throughout the academic year.

EKC Canterbury College students competed in KFE4SKILLS and showcased their skills in a range of different industries.

Practical Experiences

As well as working in our on-site salon and spa, our students also get lots of practical experiences outside the course, such as working on makeup looks for shows held in our Lanfranc theatre.

Skills Competitions

Throughout their course, all our Hair and Beauty students get the chance to take part in competitions, such as the KFE4Skills Awards.

Taught by Industry Professionals

Our students are taught by highly qualified tutors, many of whom have extensive industry experience.

Katrina Hobbs, Deputy Head of Professional Services, spent many years travelling the world with and teaching for the International Dermal Institute.

She is a firm believer that training and education is the key to success.
