Animal Care & Land-Based Diploma Level 1

This course will provide you with the basic knowledge and understanding of plants, animals, science and the environment.

What will I learn?

You will learn animal handling, land-based skills, how to work in a team, and personal & social development.

How will I be assessed?

Practical assessments and written assignments are set continually throughout the course.

What may it lead to?

Students can progress on to Level 2 courses in Animal and Land-Based.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs grade E–G (2 or 1) including Functional Skills English and Maths Entry 3 or GCSE grade 1 or 2.
