The AAT Access Award in Accounting Software offers students at Level 1 the opportunity to develop their skills in using accounting software. This qualification can offer a route into employment, support students in their existing work, or help students to pursue further Accounting studies.
Please note this course is often fully-funded. Please enquire to find out more.
The Level 1 Award in Computerised Accounts is designed for learners looking for a first qualification in the practical use of Sage Accounting with a view to entry into employment. It would be useful for learners to have an understanding of the terms used in basic bookkeeping. The aim of the qualification is to enable learners to operate Sage accounting software to carry out routine accounting tasks. These will include being able to create accounts, processing accounting information in respect of the sales and purchase ledger, understanding how to use batch control sheets and being able to produce accounting reports such as trial balance, customer activity reports and supplier details reports.
This qualification can lead to a part time or blended Level 2 certificate in Accounting.
One hour online exam.
For the best chance of success, we recommend that students begin their Accounting studies with a good standard of English and maths.
The course fee is £150, but may be funded in many circumstances.
