Tom Biddle

Former Catering student, Tom Biddle, tells us how he started his career as a butler and what he has been up to since he left College in 2006.

How did you get started?

I studied Professional Cookery at Thanet College, now known as Broadstairs College, from 2003 to 2006.

What did you learn at College?

I developed lots of fantastic skills at the College which have helped me to progress my career. I was helped to get started in my career through the many excellent partnerships the College has.

What have you been doing since completing your course?

My career began as an Under Butler in the British Embassy in Paris. I advanced to a Butler position for a private family, before moving on to my current position as Head Butler at Chatsworth House, one of the greatest stately homes in the country.
