What will I learn?

You will learn vital skills needed to work in the painting and decorating business, including health and safety and how to quote for a job. Practical skills will cover a range of subjects such as:

Preparing surfaces
Using brushes and rollers
Producing decorative finishes
Carrying out architectural feature work
Applying water-borne paint systems using airless equipment

Your learning will be very hands-on using the latest industry equipment in our new painting and decorating workshops. On successful completion, you could progress onto our Level 3 Painting and Decorating course or look for an Apprenticeship. Alternatively, you could gain employment in the industry.
