Your journey into the music industry is important to us. We will nurture your music talents and support you in perfecting your performance and production skills. Our highly experienced team will help you to understand how the modern music industry operates and teach you the latest techniques.
Gain access to unique opportunities and experiences including working on ‘real world’ projects, regular gigs in music venues and a chance to release your own records. You will create music productions for live events and collaborate on client projects, all while gaining essential industry experience and the transferable skills that employers want.

Recording Studios
We have fully equipped rehearsal and recording studios, industry-standard kit and the latest technologies and software.
During your time with us, you also have access to a large range of music performance and media spaces too, alongside a variety of instruments.
Showstopping Performances
You will have the opportunity to take part in live events throughout the year and perform for our student community, external guests and the general public.
From gigs at local bars to performing at our annual Student Awards, you will get to showcase your talent and learn about the music industry.

Meet our Deputy Head
Robert Forsyth
Robert is our Deputy Head of Creative and Computing at Broadstairs, and is also our Programme Director for Music.
Before moving to our campus, he was previously the Deputy Head of Service Industries at EKC Dover College.
He has years of experience in the music industry, studying Music himself at the University of West London.
Thanks to his industry knowledge and passion for music, Robert will help you gain the technical skills that will help you stand out in your future career.

Role description
Actors, entertainers and presenters sing, portray roles in dramatic productions, perform comedy routines, gymnastic feats and tricks of illusion, train animals to perform and perform with them, and introduce and present radio and television programmes.
