Careers Advice and Guidance

Our qualified Careers and Employer Engagement Officer is available all year round and can provide the following services to help you choose your next step and find a career that suits your skills and abilities:

Throughout our pathways, we embed career guidance and education to ensure all students are prepared to take their next steps. We do this by following the eight Gatsby Benchmarks, which ensures our career guidance is world-class and accessible to all students.

Personal guidance

As the parent of a current student, we want you to be able to have discussions with your young person about their future career: 

  • Access details of careers appointments on Parent Portal 
  • Speak to your child tutor at parents evening 
  • Sign up for our e-newsletter on Careers and Enrichment to find out about upcoming events and opportunities. 

We are always happy to receive feedback on our Careers Advice Service. You can feedback by clicking here. 

We are always keen to work with local employers and organisations. Our dedicated Industry Liasion Officers can work with you to find suitable students to undertake work experience. We are also keen to hear from any employers who: 

  • Would like to join in with our annual Career Fairs 
  • Would be willing to be a guest speaker 
  • Would be happy to join in with mock interviews 
  • who are looking to fill full or part-time vacancies
