Early Years

Pathways are made up of courses focused on future careers or further education opportunities

If you are interested in working with young children, this area of study will provide you with the first step into a challenging but very rewarding career.

Our qualifications let you choose between teaching assistant or early years, which means you can focus on the areas of childcare and education that you want a career in.

The college has an on-site nursery and close links with local childcare and education providers, meaning you will have regular work experience opportunities to help you put your skills into practice.

Students learn in facilities designed to simulate real early years environments. The College also has its own on-site nursery, which is open to the public, and provides our learners with invaluable work experience opportunities on their doorstep.

Careers in this industry include:

  • Nursery Assistant
  • Play Worker
