A career in beauty could take you in many different directions, from working on cruise ships in spas to creating media make-up looks. 

You’ll develop creative flair in our newly refurbished salons and learn from industry professionals who can give you a real insight into what it takes to succeed in the world of beauty. 

You will be taught the latest techniques and develop the customer service skills that will help you to put clients at ease.

Our students learn in specially designed, professional salon spaces. Broadstairs College also has a hotel situated within its campus grounds, giving learners the opportunity to train with paying clients in The Yarrow hotel's spa.

Role description

Job holders in this unit group plan, organise, direct and co-ordinate the activities and resources of hairdressing salons, beauty treatment and similar establishments.
