At Broadstairs College, we aim to help all learners plan for their future and achieve their goals.
For over 70 years, Broadstairs College has offered a wide range of vocational courses to learners in and around the Thanet district. From our roots as a catering college, we have grown to offer a range of vocational pathways in areas vital to the economic growth of our local community. Each year we train over 800 young people, as well as supporting Apprentices, higher education learners and adults.
Our courses are designed to help you enter employment or undertake further training to achieve your career goals. As a student, you will receive hands-on learning in your chosen vocational area and have access to industry-standard facilities designed to replicate the workplace. We also have strong partnerships with local employers, and students benefit from regular, high-quality work placements to take their learning outside of the classroom.
You can expect great teaching from dedicated professionals to support you on your learning journey. Many of our staff have worked in industry and bring your course to life with their real-world experiences and latest industry knowledge.
Your time with us will give you the opportunity to get the skills you need to compete in the job market – many of our former students have gone on to follow highly successful career paths, as well as further study at university. If you are unsure of what you want to do next, our free, impartial Careers Advice Service can help you to understand the enormous opportunities available to you.
Our vision is to provide inspirational and outstanding learning opportunities for our students. We are always looking to recruit staff who are passionate about what they do and who share our vision.
Our senior leadership team are committed to ensuring outstanding outcomes for learners, developing the economic and social prosperity of our local community and ensuring Broadstairs College is a prestigious, high-quality place to work.
We believe in partnerships and collaboration in order to bridge the gap between education and business.
