Our team in the E-Hub help you throughout the year with your studies and how you learn, but they can also help you with your wellbeing. There is a whole section of the E-Hub dedicated to wellbeing books, and they have also created a Wellbeing Hub online on SharePoint, for students and staff to access at anytime. Simply search "Wellbeing Hub" on SharePoint to find this! See what else our E-Hub team help with here.
If you feel you need help meeting people or making friends at college, why not get involved with the Student Union? Our Student Union President Tash puts on events and experiences throughout the year. On Blue Monday itself we had a session where students could meet people from other courses, which was very popular. Friendships can also be made through enrichment such as our Open Mic sessions. See the video below to meet Tash and hear what the Student Union does in the year.
At college, we have a dedicated contemplation room, where students can take a time out if they need it and think about things. Located on the 3rd floor opposite our Music studio, this room is available for anyone to access. You can also speak to our mentors or dedicated support staff when you need it. Their door is always open (even if it is physically shut - just knock!) Read more about our mentors here.
Our student centre is packed full of activities that will help you to unwind between lessons. Why not play some games on our Xbox with your friends, or try to improve your abilities on table football or table tennis? You can even just simply relax on our beanbags.
As part of college, we often have guest speakers come in to college, who can give you advice and guidance on topics. Recently, we had boyband "Here at Last" come in to perform their songs and talk to our students about their experiences of mental health and cyberbullying. Read their tips here.
