This qualification is intended to provide learners with a broad introduction to the music sector, equipping learners with underpinning knowledge and skills specific to the sector alongside a range of transferable employability skills. They are designed to support progression to further learning and ultimately to work in music tech or other related sectors.
This course covers the basic techniques of DJing within a wide range of genres, using our Apple Mac suite and Pro DJing equipment. You will also learn how to set up and manage a PA system, including lighting, and learn to record and stream your set too.
The course is suitable for anyone who wants a hands-on practical approach to developing these skills, within a collaborative and creative environment. No prior experience is necessary.
This qualification could lead to an entry-level role in music such, or you can progress onto a higher level course.
This course will take place between 6pm and 9pm, on Monday evenings, for 6 weeks.
