This evening course will give you more opportunities in work and education. You'll learn in a caring environment with an experienced tutor, and will also have access to computing software that enables you to get a better understanding of the topics covered in class.
You will learn how to analyse situations mathematically and problem solve using maths, algebra, geometry and statistics.
There will be three paper-based exams at the end of the course. In class (during the course), you'll be assessed in a variety of different ways.
This qualification will provide you with many career and educational opportunities in your chosen field.
You must be 19+ when you start the course and have GCSE Maths at grade 3/D from the last three years.
Alternatively, you can take a paper assessment before your interview to see if you have the right basic level of maths before attempting this demanding course.
The Study Programme will follow the Edexcel syllabus and will cover the four main elements of maths at GCSE: number, algebra, statistics and geometry.
*There is no fee for GCSE Maths provided you do not already hold the qualification at grade C or above.
