Combine practical experience with theory to prepare for a career in early years. This course runs one day a week for learners 19+. The day is TBC but you can register your interest/preference of day with the form below.

As well as classroom-based learning, there is a work placement for two days a week and a two week block in an early years setting. You will be assessed by written assignment, professional discussions and work-based assessment.
On successful achievement of the Level 2 Diploma you could Progress to a Level 3 course provided you have also achieved Grade 4/C in both English and Maths GCSEs, an apprenticeship or into an entry level role in the industry such as nursery practitioner, classroom assistant or pre-school practitioner.
You will be interviewed and a place on the course is subject to a DBS check and a positive reference. At interview, you will need to demonstrate that you are a suitable candidate to work with children.
