Professional Cookery NVQ Diploma Level 2 (19+)

Want to get into cooking or are looking for a more intense course before you start/progress in your culinary career? On this course, you will learn a range of basic cooking skills and techniques under the trained eye of our Chef Lecturer. By learning in our commercial style facilities, you will be able to gain skills and experience that will translate well to the home environment or industry.

  • Knife skills
  • Preparing and cooking skills

Entry Requirements 

No prior experience or qualifications are needed for this course, but an interest in cooking is essential.

You must also be 19+ for this adult course. 

Duration 

This course will be 4 - 5 hours (a half day) every week. The exact day is to be confirmed in the near future.

If you are looking for a course which isn't as intensive, try our Full-Time course which is spread out throughout the week.

Fees and Costs

*This course may be free to those who are 19+ and are unemployed or on a low income.

19 - 23: You are eligible if you are unemployed, receiving benefits or on a low wage (under £18.500). This course can also be fully funded if you already have a full Level 2. 

24+: You are eligible if you are unemployed, receiving benefits, or on a low wage (under £18.500).
